Engagement rings
Diamond Works makes custom engagement rings and carries bridal lines including Valina Bridal and Unique Settings of NY, plus men's and women's wedding bands. You work one-on-one with Mike, by appointment, and we recommend GIA-certified diamonds.
Two ways to get the ring
For the ring you can picture but can't find. You design it with Mike, choose the center stone, and he makes it in house.

The center stone
Ask for a GIA grading report and check it. The Gemological Institute of America is a nonprofit that created the Four Cs grading system and has no interest in where you buy your stone (GIA (opens in a new tab)).
We recommend only GIA-certified diamonds and source loose stones through several diamond companies. Carat weight is exact, too: a ½ carat from us is 50 points, not a "light" 45.

Wedding bands
We carry men's and women's wedding bands, including Thorsten bands in alternative metals, and we can make a custom band shaped to sit with an engagement ring.
Already have rings? We also redesign wedding sets. One customer brought in a wrap whose accent diamonds caught on things and left with two separate rings, the accents set down into the band.

Yes. We recommend GIA-certified diamonds. GIA is a nonprofit with no stake in where you buy, and its grading reports are the industry standard. We source loose stones through several diamond companies to find the right one at the best price.
Yes. We offer lab-grown diamonds as well as natural ones, and every stone is described as exactly what it is.
It should be, but many stores sell stones as light as 45 points as "about a half carat". At Diamond Works, a ½ carat stone is exactly that: 50 points. We always describe every stone as exactly what it is.

Every piece is priced to its design and the stones you choose, so we don't publish a price list. Mike walks you through options for your budget at your appointment, and our vendor relationships let us pass savings on to you.
About 2 to 4 weeks for a typical custom piece, from design to pickup. It depends on the design and the stones, and Mike will confirm the timeline at your appointment.
